Eine Apophansis (altgriechisch αΌ€Ο€ΟŒΟ†Ξ±Ξ½ΟƒΞΉΟ‚, apophansis = Urteil, Aussage) ist bei Aristoteles ein sprachliches Gebilde, das – im Gegensatz zu Fragen oder Bitten – wahr oder unwahr sein kann.cite-ref-1[1]

Statt Apophansis verwendet Aristoteles gelegentlich auch das Wort protasis. Das altgriechische Wort Apophansis wurde mit enunciatio, sententia und propositio ins Lateinische ΓΌbersetzt.
